Its about time

New York fashion week having just been and im only catching up now- sad, but rather delighted to see the mens fashion range has gone vintage. Designers such as L.L Bean, Gucci and Jil Sandler are taking the comfort of woolen jerseys and boots plus the style of leather, buttons, hats, jackets and layers and making it cool...... and adding a whole heap of zeros.





Church and Franceschetti got in on the fun with a range of sweet suede and leather lace up booties

Lastly i just have to add the fact that right now i am experiencing the hype leading up to Halloween in America and wow! its pretty exciting. today waltzing the aisles and aisles of costumes at Target really had me laughing, theres the most amazing selection of costumes for you, your kids and can you believe it your pets! although i have to say my favorite is the full size adult banana one! i have lost count of how many times, after having a tantrum and declaring i have nothing to wear to a party, i have sat down given up and made some mildly entertaining remark like "i should just go as a banana, and act like its normal, just rock up and be like "oh hey whats up". how funny would that be" the problem been no where in New Zealand actually sells complete banana costumes for a random house party....but america...well... america has everything! i almost need to buy it, not for Halloween, but to take home so i can finally turn up to someones house as a fruit. im impressed target impressed!
