My project this week- research a publication, find out their freelance submission guidelines, research, research, research, write a query letter and sell them your story.... it is truly breathtaking how many amazing, strange, interesting and just plain freaky magazines there are out there! so where do you start with a project like this? Writers Market! amazing informational bible to the freelance world and I mean world, been about as fat as my head, you really do fall into a whole new market- a whole new world!
Along this journey I found Verge Magazine (click the title to check it out and well....fall in love) not only am I now planning on writing for this magazine, but subscribing too! Just looking at the stories makes me fuzzy with excitement on all the possibilities and adventures out there! So much to do and so little money!! ahhh the thrill of something new, different, confusing, exciting and then throwing yourself in head first. Surrounding every part of your self, inside and out, in this culture, atmosphere, fear...i cant wait!!!!
