Come on down...

In an attempt to lure my much missed foreign friends I have met over the last year in the states "down under" I cant help but share a little post of my current home back in NZ....

The little passenger ferry from cooks beach to whitianga (aka from where i live which is nicknamed the dark side due to the lack of street lights or development to town)

Beautiful Hahei beach ( one of the many blissful beaches that line the mercury bay)

Pacific Ocean

Typical street of Hahei

Long sleepy days with good friends, tunes, beers and ice creams as we bags tree shade with mattresses and get bowled in the waves.

So really theres only one more thing to say......Come on down! xxx

truly.madly.deeply.

In Love with these sweet tunes this summer...

Catch the light (click)
Fly My Pretties is a chilled out collaboration of New Zealand muso's doing what they do best- creating music that will sing to your soul. They only record live albums and have graphics that are as cute as their music.

Angus and Julia Stone are a brother and sister duo hailing from Sydney. The self proclaimed folk and blues artists don't only have their music down pat but also present a rather folky sense of style too- definitely a fan. These two babes are a must have this summer- seriously cant get enough of lazy sun shining days with a mattress under my peach tree and these guys singing me sweet lullabies.

Avalanche City is a fun indie New Zealand band that you cant help but get a little attached to. Even if this song has been a wee bit thrashed in NZ of late, since its new to me I can safely say I'm still in love.
